It seems like the acne bacterium also becomes modified to become sex specific as there are acne that seems to be exclusive to the males and some that are exclusive to the females. That which is common to men is known as conglobata and are found on both the chest and back of males. It is also possible to have acne as a result of reactions to drugs, skin ointments, body creams, et.c. Some of these can be oral contraceptives for women and anabolic steroids. So now you know. If you are a female and have been having acne since you started using the oral contraceptive, then it means you might just want to stay the use of that and see what happens after stopping the use for a while. This acne is called Acne mediamentosa.
Acne excori
When blackheads or whiteheads are picked, it is possible that another form of acne can develop in its place. This is called Acne excori.
